Oregon Brand Ambassador

JOB SUMMARY
As a Portland-based Brand Ambassador, you’ll represent Portland Cider Co. at festivals, grocery store tastings, tap takeovers at local bars and restaurants, and community events throughout the metro area. You’ll pour cider, educate consumers, and turn casual sippers into lifelong fans.
This role is ideal for students, retirees, service industry, or anyone looking for supplemental income with a flexible schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Events:
Set up and break down tasting stations (tents, jockey boxes, signage, merchandise)
Pour cider samples and engage guests
Answer questions about Portland Cider Co., our brand story, and where to find us
Collect customer feedback and encourage Cider Club sign-ups
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming event space
Ensure all brand standards and alcohol service regulations are followed
Behind the Scenes:
Pick up/drop off supplies from Clackamas production facility
Transport and maintain equipment (jockey boxes, taps, coolers, tents)
Complete post-event reports via our scheduling app
Communicate regularly with the marketing team via our ambassador app (Sling)
Stay up-to-date on new releases, seasonal flavors, and brand initiatives
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
Year-round position with peak season April-October
Flexible, part-time hours, most events are evenings and weekends
No guaranteed minimum hours, work ebbs and flows with event season
Winter is slower (typically 1-4 events/month), summer is busier (5-10+ events/month)
Friday afternoon availability is a HUGE plus for grocery store tastings (these are consistently hard to fill!)
Ideal availability: 1-2 weekends per month, especially May-September
Shifts are posted in our scheduling app (Sling), where you can claim available events, communicate with the team, and manage your schedule.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
21+ years of age
Live in the Portland Metro area
Reliable transportation and ability to transport event supplies
Valid Oregon Alcohol Server License (or ability to obtain one)
Availability for at least 1-2 weekends per month, especially during peak season
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing, bending, and being on your feet for 4-6 hours at a time
Bonus Points:
Experience in hospitality, events, or craft beverage industries
Knowledge of cider, beer, wine, or spirits
Outgoing personality and natural storytelling ability
Active on social media (bonus if you love creating content!)
COMPENSATION
$21.30/hour + tips, where applicable
Cider rations
