Call for Apples!! 2nd Annual PDX Apple Recycling collection Aug - Oct

DON'T WASTE YOUR APPLES. RECYCLE THEM!!

Bring us your Backyard Apples to turn in to a Community Cider for Charity!

Portland Cider Company is coordinating our 2nd annual Community Cider, made with 100% recycled Backyard Apples from the amazing people in the Portland Metro area. We once again call upon the Portland community for backyard apples to hand-press into a community cider to support a local charity. We're collecting bushels of unwanted fruit August 1 thru the end of October, with drop-off at our Clackamas Taproom + Cidery.

This full-scale community effort is about bringing people together to create handmade craft cider, using the apples from our own backyards here in the Portland Metro area, while reducing waste with this unique Apple Recycling program. Bringing together cider, community, sustainability, tradition and charity in Portland Cider Company’s Community Cider release, “Oregon Wild.”

100% of the net proceeds of the cider sales will be donated to the Oregon Wild conservation organization.

We invite you to recycle your apples, not throw them away! Bring us your fallen and unwanted fruit in exchange for Portland Cider trade. And when the time comes, you also get to help with the pressing of the apples you brought in! More details at www.portlandcider.com/drive.
