Dry-ish January Concord Grape Cocktails featuring Steven Smith Tea
If going fully booze-free isn’t your vibe, we’re easing into the new year with warm, low-ABV sips that still feel like a treat. This January, we’re cozying up with our seasonal Concord Grape paired with fragrant Steven Smith teas. Stay warm, sip slow, and try one of these comforting, winter-ready cocktails at home!
Winter Warmer
Ingredients:
8 oz Portland Cider Concord Grape
4 oz Steven Smith Portland Breakfast Tea (brewed strong)
0.25 oz brown sugar syrup (or maple syrup)
1 small cinnamon stick
apple slices
2 cloves
Method:
Brew Portland Breakfast tea strong and set aside.
Add cider, tea, sweetener, cinnamon, cloves, and orange peel to a small saucepan.
Heat gently over low for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
Remove spices, pour into a mug, and serve hot.
Garnish: Fresh apple slices and/or cinnamon stick.
Meadow Glow
Ingredients:
5 oz Portland Cider Concord Grape
3 oz Steven Smith Meadow Tea (hot, brewed medium-strength)
0.25 oz honey syrup (1:1)
2-3 dashes orange bitters (optional)
Orange wheel
Method:
Brew Meadow tea and keep hot.
Gently heat the Concord Grape cider (do not boil).
Combine cider, tea, honey syrup, and bitters in a heatproof mug.
Drop in an orange wheel.
Garnish: Orange wheel and/or cinnamon stick.
