Lantern Viewing Evenings Return for Lunar New Year 2026
Pear Lychee is now served in the Yun Shui Teahouse!
Lan Su Chinese Garden’s iconic Lantern Viewing Evenings return for Lunar New Year 2026, bigger and brighter than ever. During these evenings, the garden comes alive after dark with glowing lanterns, reflective water features, and illuminated classical Chinese architecture.
The lantern displays symbolize renewal, prosperity, and good fortune, making them a meaningful way to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, a sign associated with energy, transformation, and movement. It’s one of the most unique Lunar New Year events in Portland, blending history, artistry, and tradition.
