A while back, our award-winning Sorta Sweet Cider went away. We knew it wouldn’t be forever, though, and we recently relaunched it with a new name: Original Gold, a nod to its growing collection of gold medals, and its status as one of Portland Cider’s very first ciders. Chef Vinnie Manna has been welcomed warmly into the Portland Cider family, and appreciates the trust and friendship that owners Jeff and Lynda Parrish have offered up. “Cooking is my passion. It’s what I do, along with taking care of my three beautiful daughters. Food and family are my whole life—and now the family includes Portland Cider.”
