Seattle Cider Summit

Cider Summit Seattle returns to our original home at the South Lake Union Discovery Center Lawn! Join us on Friday & Saturday, September 12-13 for our 14th annual festival. As always, our festival will feature approximately 150 selections from more than 40 leading cider, mead and fruit spirit and cocktail producers. This year’s event will also feature a Saturday pre-opening Cider-Cheese-Charcuterie hosted tasting, an expanded mead selection, the Heritage Cider Pavilion, a cocktail & spirits lounge, craft vendors and an assortment of food and small bites available for sampling and purchase. We’ll also have several brands participating in the Oregon Fruit Co. Fruit Cider Challenge, with QR code voting to determine the champion!

Event Hours
Cider Summit Seattle hours are Friday, September 12 from 3pm-8pm (with VIP admission at 2pm) and Saturday, September 13 from 12pm-5pm. Last call will take place 15 minutes prior to closing. Your ticket is good for either and both days. Re-admission is allowed at anytime during festival hours as long as you have your event tasting glass and your event wristband (still on).Portland Cider is proud to be one of this year’s sponsors, serving up crisp, refreshing cider all weekend long!

Tickets
VIP tickets include 16 tasting tokens, souvenir tasting glass and admission starting at 2:00pm on Friday or anytime on Saturday. VIP tickets are $45.00+ if purchased by July 31, 2025. The price will increase to $50.00+ as of August 1. VIP tickets are not available at the gate. Online purchases must be completed by Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 11:59pm.

General Admission tickets include 12 tasting tokens, souvenir tasting glass and admission starting at 3:00pm Friday or anytime on Saturday. General Admission tickets are $35.00+ if purchased by July 31, 2025. The price will increase to $40.00+ as of August 1 and $55.00 at the gate (including all taxes/fees). Advance tickets may be purchased online until 11:59pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Designated Driver tickets are $10 and include park admission and a bottle of water. These are available at the gate only and you must still be 21 or over.

Cider Making 101 Workshop with Portland Cider Co.

Learn the basics of crafting your own small-batch hard cider at home! Led by Founder Jeff Parrish and Head Cider Maker Brendan O'Connor.

Learn the basics of crafting your own delicious, small-batch hard cider at home! In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll be given a gallon of fresh apple juice, yeast, nutrients, and an air lock, and instructed in how to initiate the fermentation process. Then you’ll take it home to finish on your own!

Class Length: 90 minutes.

Class Fee: $55 per person.
Includes all materials, supplies, and a gallon of fresh-pressed juice to ferment at home.

What’s Included:

  • Fresh-pressed apple juice (1 gallon)

  • Yeast and fermentation starter kit (airlock, stopper, instructions)

  • Sanitized fermentation jug

  • Step-by-step fermentation guide for home & recipe card

We’re proud to be the official cider of Art in the Dark, an unforgettable outdoor performance by A-WOL Dance Collective. Suspended in the forest canopy, this breathtaking aerial production transforms Mary S. Young Park into a dreamlike stage—blending movement, music, and nature in a way only the Northwest can.

This year’s show, 10 Laws, is a powerful reimagining of A-WOL’s sold-out aerial masterpiece inspired by the ten laws of survival. Set to a haunting original score by musician East Forest, dancers soar, spin, and stretch through the trees, embodying the natural world in a performance that’s equal parts ethereal and grounding.
