Portland Cider Raises $5,000 for Oregon Humane Through Community Partnership

Every year, Portland Cider partners with local organizations doing work that matters. This May-June, we teamed up with Oregon Humane for our 4th annual fundraiser, and thanks to everyone who picked up a Portland Cider 6-pack at participating retailers, we raised $5000 for their lifesaving mission.

That’s a whole lot of cider doing a whole lot of good.

What Oregon Humane Does

Oregon Humane is one of the nation's largest animal welfare organizations, handling everything from adoptions and veterinary care to humane law enforcement and disaster response. They’re the safety net for animals across Oregon, and they rely on community partners (like you!) to keep the doors open.

Our partnership is simple: you buy your favorite cider, we donate a portion of the proceeds. A win for all, but most importantly, the pets we love and cherish.

The Impact Your Support Made

Every purchase contributed to an organization making an incredible impact across Oregon. According to the Oregon Humane Impact Report, in 2025 the organization:

  • Helped 12,478 animals find loving homes through adoption

  • Provided medical care for 56,376 animals

  • Performed 18,587 surgeries for shelter pets and owned animals

  • Distributed more than $2 million in veterinary financial assistance to help families keep their pets healthy

  • Investigated 2,048 animals helped by Humane Law Enforcement

  • Welcomed over 7,000 participants to Oregon Humane events

These numbers represent thousands of pets receiving medical care, finding permanent homes, and getting the second chances they deserve.

More Than Fundraising

We are a proud sponsor of the Portland Doggie Dash, one of Oregon Humane's signature community events. It’s technically a fun run for dog lovers, but it’s really an excuse to bring people together around something we all care about: our pets and our community.
