The 12th Annual Montavilla Jazz Festival presented by Accelerator Design Studios is a three-day celebration of the very best in Portland jazz. MJF supports and strengthens local culture by highlighting emerging and established artists from Portland’s vibrant jazz scene. MJF offers Portlanders a unique and accessible way to join Portland’s finest musicians as they chart new frontiers in jazz.

The mission of Montavilla Jazz Festival is not only to bolster Portland’s dynamic jazz culture, but also to enrich the local community. On Wednesday evenings, Portland’5 takes advantage of the summer weather in Portland to present the Music on Main concert series. The free outdoor concerts are held on Main Street next to Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall—between Southwest Broadway and Park Avenue in downtown Portland—and feature popular local musicians playing a diverse collection of music.
Music on Main is open to the public and the concerts run from 5pm to 7pm. All ages are welcome to attend. Seating is available on a first come, first-served basis—tickets are not required.

The Walk: The walk/run kicks off at 9:15 a.m. Choose between a 1K flat loop around the park or a 5K loop into Minto-Brown Island Park. Runners are asked to lead the pack to avoid congestion with walkers.
